Stem Cell Therapy
There are three main sources of stem cells
Umbilical Cord
Cells are primitive and only 9 months old. Processing is done in an FDA and AATB compliant lab where the exact quantity of cells is known in the final product
Bone Marrow
Results are variable due to the patient’s age. Involves a painful procedure and in office processing of the aspirate.
Fat
Results are variable due to the patient’s age. Involves a procedure and in office processing of the aspirate.
Why Umbilical Cord Stem Cells?
Umbilical cord derived stem cells offer the greatest potential in regeneration of injured or diseased tissue. This is mainly due to their primitive nature which makes them more robust than adult stem cells. Compared to bone marrow and adipose tissue, umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cells (UCB- MSCs) have the highest rate of cell proliferation and clonality. This allows for a greater population of stem cells for the body’s use. The UCB-MSCs also exhibit the greatest anti-inflammatory effect. Treatments using Bone marrow and Adipose tissue derived stem cells are variable based on the patient’s age. The older we get, the lower amount of stem cells we have. So for chronic disease and pain, you want to choose the most robust and viable stem cells available.
Stem Cell Therapy Uses
Conditions Treated
Regeneration of Nerve
Multiple Sclerosis
Umbilical cord derived stem cells have been successful in treating patients with MS. Patients regain movement and strength. They also experience a dramatic decrease in pain.
Organ Regeneration
COPD, Liver disease, Kidney Disease
Due to their primitive nature, stem cells have the ability to differentiate into different tissues. Stem cell treatments have reversed kidney failure and liver cirrhosis. It has also been shown to regenerate lungs in the case of COPD.
Anti-Aging & Athletic Performance
Whole Body Regeneration
Due to the migratory ability of the umbilical cord stem cells, patients will get an IV to increase stamina, athletic performance and slow down the aging process. This is a popular therapy for professional athletes to prevent injuries.
Chronic Pain
Regeneration of Ligaments, Cartilage, and Muscle
Chronic Joint Pain is due to inflammation and degeneration of joints. Stem cells have the ability to modulate the immune system, thereby decreasing inflammation. They also help to rebuild new tissue which regenerates the joint. Patients are choosing stem cell injections over joint replacement surgery due to its safety and well known efficacy.
Autoimmune Disease
Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, Fibromyalgia
Due to the powerful immunomodulatory effects, stem cell therapy can dramatically decrease the symptoms associated with autoimmune disease. Many patients have benefited from this treatment in gaining a much higher quality of life and being able to discontinue steroids and other immunosuppressant drugs.
Stroke & Cardiovascular Disease
Regeneration of Brain Function and Heart
Stroke Victims can regain movement in the affected parts. The sooner the stem cell treatment is done the better. However, stem cell treatments have still been effective for patients up to 3 years after the event. Patients with heart failure have also benefitted with stem cell therapy, as the stem cells can also differentiate into cardiac tissue.

More About Umbilical Cord Stem Cells
Umbilical Cord blood and Wharton’s Jelly are rich in Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs). What makes MSCs so effective? Migration Umbilical cord stem cells have excellent migration. This means they move to the injured areas of the body. So if a patient with COPD receives an...
